<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dehydrating a liquid, enabling to simply and quickly remove water contained in the liquid such as a water-containing solvent or a water-containing solute solution to obtain the liquid having a ultralow water content. SOLUTION: This method for dehydrating a liquid comprises blowing a dried inactive gas into the liquid such as a water-containing solvent or a water- containing solute solution in a gas-liquid contact device, bringing the liquid into contact with the dried inactive gas to evaporate off water contained in the liquid, sending the water-containing inactive gas discharged from the gas- liquid contact device into a dehydration-drying device to dry the liquid, again sending the dried inactive gas into the gas-liquid contact device, and thus continuously blowing the dried inactive gas into the device.</p> |
