A proportional control for an electric motor comprises a rotating shaft (10) integrated with a control haft (1), fixed in translation and incorporating some means (30) for determining the sense of rotation of the motor, and some means (3, 20) for determining the speed of the motor. The rotation of the shaft and its translational position are assured by a system of rollers that equally gives the shaft a precise rotational movement.
