The invention concerns a snap-on fitting for low pressure fluid transfer pipe, in particular for motor vehicles, comprising two semi-cylindrical parts (28) mounted on part of a pipe (10) made of rubber or the like threaded on an insert (14) and fixed to each other by elastic locking ensuring thereby that the pipe (10) is fixed sealed on the insert (14), said parts (28) having front ends (32) capable of elastic deformation to be locked elastically on a peripheral projection (22) of the connecting piece (12).
