Hermetically sealable box formed by a container and a cover

The hermetic box comprises a container (1) and a cover (6) which covers the container edges (4). The lid has an internal rib (7) defining with the cover external wall (8) a peripheral reception zone (9) for a container edge. The container edge is edged by flexible seals (10,11). One of the seals includes a sealing tongue (13) which is supported against a transverse rib (12) on the container side wall (3).
