INKJET RECORDING MEDIUM AND INKJET RECORDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium and an inkjet recording method excellent in uniformity in solid density and quality of an image under the condition that the merits of water based ink, in which coloring material-containing fine resin particles are employed and is excellent in color reproducibility with high fastness, are kept.

SOLUTION: This inkjet recording medium has an ink absorbing layer having a contact angle to aqueous ink after 0.1 s of 25-45°, in the case that the aqueous ink having coloring material-containing colored fine resin particles dispersed therein and having a surface tension of 25-45 mN/m is used.
