PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice recognizing operation device which can reduce the influence of ambient noise without using a high performance or expensive component and prevent its cost from increasing. SOLUTION: A portable telephone set 10 as this device is equipped with a voice input part 12 which inputs a speaker's voice and outputs an electric voice signal, a voice recognition part 18 which recognizes the inputted speaker's voice and performs a specific process when the portable telephone set 10 is switched to a voice recognition mode, and a control part 20 which controls registration, recognition, retrieval, calling, and other specific processing operations according to the signal from the voice recognition part 18. In this case, a control part 20 which calculates a noise value from the voice inputted to the voice input part 12 and a display part 30 which displays the noise value calculated by the control part 20 are provided. |
