<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus provided with an image data input/output control means without decreasing the productivity to the utmost even in the case of the apparatus with a configuration unable to mount a memory with a large capacity due to a cost reason. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is constituted in such a way that an external image data input received from an external device such as a scanner 42, an internal image data input received from inside, and an external image data output to be outputted to external device such as a plotter 43 share a primary storage device 31 and a secondary storage device 29. The image forming apparatus is provided with a storage medium 25 including: a function of receiving a plurality of image data input output processing requests at the same time; a function of applying queuing to a plurality of the input output processes in orders of request reception to a one-dimensional queue and thereafter carrying out execution processing; a function of managing an input output processing state during execution at present; and a function of selecting the image input output data processing to be executed from next in the one-dimensional queue on the basis of a judgment condition of a unique image ID set to parameters of the image data input output processing executed finally. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
