PURPOSE: A cigarette filter which can adjust an amount of smoke from a cigarette for the smoker's taste is provided, by designing the filter in the form of prominence-and-depression so that it can be lengthened along the size-adjustable pleated cigarette wrapping paper attached to the the filter part. CONSTITUTION: Adjustable filter for cigarette smoke is comprised of a pleated wrapping paper(1) which can adjust the length of the filter, and a cigarette filter(2,3) which is designed to be a prominence-and-depression form or wedge form. The filter can carry out the function of a conventional cigarette filter, and can adjust the amount of smoke from a cigarette by extending the pleated wrapping paper and separating the filter.
