PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide data transfer method and system capable of efficiently transferring data stored in a redundant memory means to the other memory means while securing the throughput of communication service based on control data processing for normal communication. SOLUTION: In the data transfer system connecting at least one processing means 2 for executing various processing and a redundant memory means for storing data necessary for various processing to be executed by the means 2 to a bus and capable of transferring data from one memory means to the other when necessary, the processing means 2 is provided with a load monitoring means 24 for monitoring the load of the system and controlling data transfer on the basis of the load of the system. Thus the system can execute data transfer for transferring data from one memory means to the other while securing the throughput of various data processing other than the data transfer.
