PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material sorting device by which a photographic print carried to the tray of a sorting part is not damaged or not drawn by a pushing pawl. SOLUTION: The carrying belt 30 of a belt conveyer 28 carries the photographic print P discharged from a processor part to the tray 84. The pushing pawl 82 of the belt 30 surely pushes the trailing end of the print P on a tray side. After the pawl 82 pushes the print P, a sliding base 94 on which the conveyer 28 is placed slides on a side opposed to a carrying direction by a rocking arm 116 so that the pawl 82 is not brought into contact with the print P carried to the tray 84.
