PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copy cutter of a master/slave shield machine capable properly receiving a reaction load without requiring to separate a hydraulic pipe. SOLUTION: This copy cutter 8 of the master/slave shield machine 1 separating or starting a small-diameter shield 3 from a large-diameter shield 2 is provided with a copy cutter jack 17 having a copy cutter bit 16 at the tip, a jack holder 18 supporting the copy cutter jack 17 and movably provided in the small- diameter shield 3 so that its tip section is moved between the inside of the outer periphery of the inner peripheral cutter 4 of the small-diameter shield 3 and the inside of the outer periphery of the outer peripheral cutter 5 of the large-diameter shield 2, and an expansion jack 19 moving the jack holder 18.
