PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking device in which weight of a brake disc is reduced and stress to vehicle structure can be reduced. SOLUTION: The braking device applied to vehicles and having means to improve dissipation of braking heat comprises, at least, a portion of the brake disc which makes a close contact with a traveling wheel rim for optimization of transfer of braking heat by conduction from the brake disc 1 to the travelling wheel rim 2 and a brake caliper 10 provided to exert an influence on the brake disk 1.
