PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a joint apparatus for an opening of an elevator shaft, which blocks a joint portion without inclination of a pair of wall surface joint devices, even if the elevator shaft sways to narrow the joint portion in front of the elevator shaft, does not form a new gap due to the sway, and is simple in structure and smooth when moved. SOLUTION: The joint apparatus for the opening of the elevator shaft is comprised of a sliding frame, a floor joint device, and the wall surface joint devices. The sliding frame is attached to an external wall surface at upper and lower locations of the opening of the elevator shaft which is installed in a skeleton of a building via the joint portion in a manner being slidable from side to side. The floor joint device includes a joint plate which is attached to a lower portion of the sliding frame, and can block the joint portion between the floor skeleton of the building and the elevator shaft even if the joint portion is widened or narrowed. The pair of expansible wall surface joint devices each have one end thereof attached to each side portion of the sliding frame and the other end thereof attached to each side portion of the opening of the elevator shaft.
