PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purifying method of contaminated ground used for ground stabilization in common to shorten underground water level lowering time of a pumping well, to improve purifying efficiency, to eliminate setting of a suction pipe and to improve sand ground by concurrently using a compaction sand pile developing method and a purifying method of a contaminated layer and more favourably improving water permeability of the sand ground. SOLUTION: This is a purifying method of the contaminated ground used for ground stabilization in common to stabilize the ground by developing a large number of gravel piles with proper pitches in the sand ground A in the ground of lower than an underground water level of which the contaminated layer B exists, to more favourably improve water permeability of the ground, to lower the underground water level to a position lower than the contaminated layer B by pumping up underground water by the pumping well 3 and to collect compressed air passing the contaminated layer B into the ground with a contaminate through the sand piles 1 by injecting the compressed air into the contaminated layer B by an air injection pipe 2 inserted to a position lower than the contaminated layer B in the ground.
