PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jointing structure for wooden building which can reduce the labor required for jointing beam, sill, etc. to a column by using a joint metal and, at the same time, can maintain the strengths of the column, etc. and building excellently. SOLUTION: A second-floor column 3 is jointed to a first-floor column 2 by forming recessed and projecting sections 4 in the upper end section of the first-floor column 2 and the lower end section of the second-floor column 3 and fitting the shell section 1a of the joint metal 1 composed of the shell section 1a and a wing section 1b to the recessed and projecting sections 4 of the columns 3 and 2, and then, fixing the shell section la with bolts 5. Then the beam is assembled to the wing section lb of the metal 1 and fixed with pins 7.
