PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect all the operating information of an air conditioner stored in a remote monitor device by a central monitor device even when a communication between the remote monitor device and the central monitor device is disconnected. SOLUTION: The remote monitor device 14 monitors the operating states of air conditioners 11, 12 and 13. When the remote monitor device 14 detects the generation of abnormality in the air conditioners, the remote monitor device 14 calls the central monitor device 15 so that the central monitor device can collect the operating information of the air conditioners. The remote monitor device 14 has a function for recalling the central monitor device while maintaining all the information upon abnormality of the air conditioners, when the communication between the remote monitor device and the central monitor device through a communication line 16 is disconnected before the remote monitor device receives a reading completion and instruction signal which is transmitted by the central monitor device when the central monitor device reads all the operating information of the air conditioners upon generation of abnormality.
