PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner capable of efficiently collecting dust into a certain place, and as a result, capable of improving expulsion performance of the dust and extending the service life of an element. SOLUTION: This air cleaner 11 is provided with a casing 14 having an inlet 12 and an outlet 13 for air, and the element 15 provided in an interior of the casing 14 and filtering flowing in air. A dust collecting part 19 with an inner diameter wider than a peripheral wall 16b is provided in one part in a circumferential direction of the peripheral wall 16b of a easing 16 swirling air. By providing a dust scattering preventing wall 20 protruding in a tangent direction of the peripheral wall 16b on the dust collecting part 19, scattering of the dust accumulated in the dust collecting part 19 is prevented and the dust is efficiently collected in one place.
