PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide member for parallel moving for a rail, capable of satisfying the rigidity and the flexibility and preventing bending. SOLUTION: In this parallel moving device for rails, one end part of the guide member is bent and guided to one of paired rails, the other end of the guide member is connected to the other of the paired rails, and the guide member is driven by an interlocking device to move the rails in the parallel state. The guide member 1 is formed by butting two upper and lower thin plates 2a having a gently curved section and joining the same with a flexible resin material 4a.
