PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a font providing device favorable for distributing the font necessary for corporate users. SOLUTION: The font providing device is composed of a server apparatus SV to receive an order of font through an Internet circuit, a data processing terminal T1 to prepare the outline data about the ordered font, and a master database DB0 in which the outline data and/or membership registration data are stored. At the stage when the ordering process from the user is completed, an order list is produced in a WEB database DB1 in a first process, followed by a second process in which the WEB database DB1 is searched so that the contents of the unprocessed order list are read and on the basis of the order list, the ordered font data is extracted from the master database DB0, and finally a third process is executed in which the extracted font data is processed and distributed by electronic mail. |
