PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for managing mail order reception for realizing ordering and asking about a desired product by only transmitting a mail in the case of having found the desired product. SOLUTION: In a mail order reception managing method in a server (20) accessible through a user terminal (50) and a network (10), a received electronic mail having a destination mail address including a product number for specifying the product is received from the user terminal, URL data corresponding to the product number included in the destination mail address and an answering electronic mail including the URL data are prepared in the case of receiving the received electronic mail, and transmits the answering electronic mail to the user terminal by using transmission source information of the received electronic mail.
