PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave disturbance suppression device which can effectively suppress unnecessary electromagnetic wave disturbance without requiring wiring for a new grounding wire and the like in an electric/electronic device using a single-phase two-wire AC power supply, and a power supply device for a computer which incorporates an electromagnetic wave disturbance suppression mechanism. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic wave suppression device suppresses unnecessary electromagnetic wave generated from an electronic device operated by connecting to a commercial power supply in office, at home or the like, and has a polarity discriminating means which automatically discriminates the ground potential of neutral side (a neutral line) and the energized part of hot side (an energized line) of the single-phase power supply of the commercial power supply, and a grounding-point connection means which connects the neutral side of the single-phase power supply discriminated by the polarity discriminating means to the electrical conductive part on the neutral side or the electrically conductive box of the electronic device operated by connecting to the single-phase power supply through a capacitor and a resistor. |
