PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate film for electronic display in which display unevenness in use environment at the time when built in a liquid display element is improved. SOLUTION: The cellulose acylate film comprises a hydrolytic polycondensation product of a cellulose acylate satisfying degrees of substitution represented by the formulas: 2.5≤A + B≤3.0 and 0≤A≤2.95 [wherein A is a degree of substitution of an acetyl group and B is the sum of degrees of substitution of acyl groups other than acetyl group] with a reactive metal compound enabling hydrolysis and polycondensation.
