FIELD: medicine; cardiovascular surgery. ^ SUBSTANCE: support ring can be used for treatment of valvular heart disease, in particular, at annuloplasty of tricuspid and mitral valves. Ring for annuloplasty has frame in form of open ring covered with xenopericardium. Frame is made of super elastic titanium nickelide; frame is equipped with rounded protrusions having openings, which openings are disposed at edges and internal contour. Coating is made of two xenopericardium plates, which xenopericardium is treated by epoxy compounds. Seams connect coatings with internal fold along internal contour of frame; seams connect coatings with external fold along external contour. ^ EFFECT: improved reliability; preservation of natural biomechanics of reconstructed fibrous ring; improved biological compatibility of implant. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg |
