<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the belt tension of a belt-pulley mechanism, and to improve the durability of the belt and the engine fuel consumption in an auxiliary machinery drive unit which carries out the engine drive of a plurality of pieces of auxiliary machinery including a generator through the common belt-pulley mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: A required drive torque of a pump 13 for power steering is computed from the detection value of a hydraulic sensor 32. When the drive torque increases, the amount of power generation of a generator 11 is restricted so as to reduce the tension acting on the belt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
