A METHOD FOR DESIGNING DNA CHIP BY EXTRACTION OF TOXICITY-RELATED GENES

A method for designing a DNA chip is provided to study in vivo expression pattern of toxicity by extraction of toxicity-specific genes, thereby controlling the expression of toxicity. A method for designing a DNA chip comprises the steps of: obtaining a first set of toxicity-specific genes through Medline analysis; verifying and arranging the first set of toxicity-specific genes obtained in view of function and pathway; extracting biological term groups corresponding to the same metabolism pathway or the pathway having interaction by using gene ontology based on the first set of toxicity-specific genes; and deciding the cDNA(complementary DNA) gene groups corresponding to the extracted biological term groups by using the gene and protein database.
