<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp for vehicles in which the dimension, especially, in front and rear direction of vehicle can be made compact compared with a vehicle lamp using a reflecting surface of ellipse or based on primarily ellipse. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle lamp is provided with a first reflecting surface 9 of which focus F1 of a paraboloid of revolution or based on primarily paraboloid of revolution is located at a focus F3 of a projection lens 6 or its vicinity and second reflecting surfaces 10L, 10C, 10R of which focus F2 of the paraboloid of revolution or based on primarily paraboloid of revolution are located at the semiconductor type light source 4 or its vicinity.
