<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake manifold of an outboard engine which increases output by suppressing the adverse effect of interference of intake air between cylinders while also suppressing the height dimensions of intake pipes arranged on the upper and lower sides, and reduces the effect on the height dimension of an outboard. <P>SOLUTION: An engine 2 is placed in an engine room A partitioned by an engine cover 40. An intake manifold 30 composed of a common surge tank 31 and intake pipes 32, 33, 34, 35 is so disposed as to extend in the longitudinal direction along one side surface of an engine block. The openings of the intake pipes are arranged at specified intervals.
