<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize an entire frame including a cooler and simplify the cooler, in a motor where an inverter is integrated. <P>SOLUTION: Theres is provided a storage 19 on the external peripheral face of a motor housing 12, and also provided a plurality of heat radiating fins 20 which constitute the cooler on both axial sides across the storage 19. A switching element 21 for motor drive, etc. which constitute an inverter for the drive control of an induction motor 11 are accommodated in the storage 19. An SiC element is used for the switching element 21 for motor drive. There is a path which extends via a stator core 17, a rotor 15, and a shaft 13 from the motor housing 12 in addition to a path which reaches the heat radiating fin 20 directly via the motor housing 12 as a heat conductive path to the heat radiating fin 20 for the heat generated in the switching element 21 for motor drive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
