<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a high-quality color filter which achieves high contrast and proper partial-discoloration suppression effect, when incorporated into a display device, because flat pixels free of color mixing and void generation can be formed by the method. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the color filter, having a plurality of pixels and partitions between the adjacent pixels on a substrate includes (a) a step of forming partitions comprising a resin composition on a substrate; (b) subjecting the substrate on which the partitions have been formed to plasma treatment; and (c) a step of forming pixels by providing an ink for ink jet comprising C.I. Pigment Red 254, a solvent, a surfactant and a monomer having two or more polymerizable groups by an ink jet method, to gaps between the partitions formed on the substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
