PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projector capable of displaying an image that is visible to a person who is permitted to view but not visible for other persons. SOLUTION: The image projector 10 generates a third image to be projected on a screen 32 to superpose a first image, converting the image to be projected on the screen 32 into a second image different from the first image. The image projector 10 projects and superposes the first image and the third image in at least different polarization characteristics or in a time sharing mode to display the second image as visible on the screen 32.
