PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superior reliability recording medium of image quality which surely prevents generation of crosstalks and forms high-quality images that have no stains and on whose both sides the electrodes are formed so that the body of the medium, which writes or deletes images by the action of electric charges, may be put between the electrodes, the medium body being arranged apart from at least either a lower part electrode or an upper part electrode to selectively generate electric discharge in between the medium body and the lower part or upper part electrode, to which electric charges are applied by the action of the electric charge applied to the lower part or upper part electrode, the electric charge selectively applied to the lower part or upper part electrode having no action on the adjacent lower part or upper part electrode to which electric charge is not applied. SOLUTION: A spacer is provided, which is arranged between at least either the lower part electrode or the upper part electrode and the medium body and makes the medium body separate from the lower part or upper part electrode.
