摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute an anti-aliasing processing and a translucent processing at a low cost and to obtain an excellent image by generating the image for executing display through the use of an image element value stored in a temporary holding means based on a stored contribution degree and a depth value. SOLUTION: A mixing ratio arithmetic circuit 105 is connected to a depth synthesizing circuit 104c in a final stage, calculates the mixing ratio of four groups of image element values (R, G and B values) from the contribution degree and a Z-value and outputs it to an image element mixing circuit 106. The mixing ratio is for the anti-aliasing processing as against a translucent polygon and is for the translucent processing as against the other polygons. The circuit 106 is connected to the circuit 104c in the final stage and the circuit 105 so as to mix the R, G and B values inputted from the circuit 104c in accordance with the mixing ratio inputted from the circuit 105 and obtain the image element values (R, G and B values) by display image element unit. An image display device 107 displays the image generated through the use of the value which is obtained by the circuit 106.
