<p>The system has a support transporting unit to transport a support e.g. paper, from an introduction opening to a support printing unit in a transporting channel. A jogging kicking roller (22) jogs an edge of the support against a metallic vertical jogging wall (25) extended along the channel. An optical synchronization sensor (C1) detects another edge of the support opposed to the jogged edge for determining a width of the support.</p>
