PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment which can indicate an exact residual available time even when current consumption of a battery pack changes due to an unexpected load brought about by connection of external equipment. SOLUTION: A video camera 200 has an indicating part 203 and a calculating part 208. The calculating part 208 calculates the residual available time from the current consumption of the video camera 200 and calculates that time from a discharge current of a battery cell 101.
