PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a wall member used for a projecting corner part from an existing siding panel, and to provide an exterior wall using the wall member. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the wall member includes an end part processing process in which a recess part for shiplap is eliminated near at least one of horizontal end faces of an existing wall member, a cutting process in which the end face of the existing wall member undergone the end part processing is cut into a curved surface or a multifaceted surface, and a coating process coating the cut face cut in the cutting process to have the similar design as that of the surface. In the cutting process, the end face may be cut into an arcuate horizontal cross section having the radial length less than a thickness of the siding panel, and a groove corresponding to a joint groove formed in a surface of the siding panel is formed in the end face. Thus, the wall member can be manufactured from the existing siding panel, and the existing wall member and a manufacturing facility can be effectively utilized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
