<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dividend management apparatus for handling dividend information of all kinds of foreign stocks. <P>SOLUTION: A consigner company 7 consigns the management of dividends of foreign stocks to a dividend management company 3 and a foreign storage bank 5 stores actual foreign stocks and provides dividend information 19 to the dividend management company 3. A dividend management apparatus 11 in the dividend management company 3 acquires the dividend information 19 of the foreign stocks from a processing apparatus in the storage bank 5. When there is no existing dividend kind information 27 corresponding to the kind of the dividend information 19, new dividend kind information 27 is prepared and stored in a storage part 155. The dividend management apparatus 11 displays a dividend information registration screen on the basis of the prepared dividend kind information 27, accepts the registration of the dividend information 19, and prepares an instruction slip 47, and a contact slip 61 and updates ledger information 15 as to the registered dividend information 19.
