<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP telephone system having a function for forcedly and simultaneously reporting information containing a prescribed content to an optionally selected speech unit. <P>SOLUTION: The IP telephone system has: a plurality of speech units 4a, 4b (clients) capable of communicating mutually via a network; a server 6 (host) that executes connection start processing when calling the speech units and controls data transmitted and received to and from the speech units when calling the speech units; and a simultaneous reporting means for forcedly and simultaneously reporting the information of the prescribed content to the speech unit optionally selected from the plurality of speech units.
