METHOD OF SURGICAL TREATMENT OF INDIRECT INGUINAL HERNIA

FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, particularly surgery. Internal inguinal ring is closed before application of mesh implant by purse-string suture, a knot is bound. Remaining thread end is used to make two rows of uninterrupted blanket sutures from internal inguinal ring to pubic tubercle and back to duplicate transverse fascia. Both thread ends are knotted in inguinal ring area. Mesh implant is applied in rear wall projection of inguinal canal and fixated by uninterrupted U-shaped suture towards pubic tubercle. ^ EFFECT: additional reinforcement of rear inguinal canal wall without tissue tension, prevention of hernia recurrence. ^ 1 ex, 2 dwg
