PROCESS FOR THE PURIFICATION OF BENZENE FRACTION OF COKE AND BY-PRODUCT PROCESS FROM CARBON SULPHIDE

A process for purification of benzene fraction of coke and by-product process from carbon sulphide by treatment with aqueous alkali solution, containing polar organic additives from amine and amide series. To the benzene fraction, containing carbon sulphide, the aqueous alkali solution of concentration 20-75 weight % is added. The reaction mix is cooled by the rapid mixing to temperature 0÷(+40) °С. HNRRalkylamine is added in quantity of 1.15-2.30 moles per 1 mole of carbon sulphide. The reaction mixture is held for an hour and dialkyl dithiocarbamates of metals and/or alkyl ammonium alkyl dithiocarbamates are extracted.
