PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a female terminal that can ensure that an initial contact load is sufficiently high and at the same time, eliminates a problem of collapse due to creep after endurance operation. SOLUTION: The terminal has a cylindrical box portion 10 at its front, into which a male terminal is inserted from a front end inlet, and two spring components A, B elastically sandwiching the male terminal on the front and rear sides of an inside of the box portion.
