PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device which maintains test quality even under different testing environments and improves operational efficiency in a testing process, and also provide an information processing device, a software operation testing method, a software operation testing program, and a recording medium to which the program is recorded. SOLUTION: The image processing device 100 has an evaluation object function providing means 81 which provides various kinds of functions by means of software SW and/or hardware HW installed in an evaluation object machine. In addition, the device 100 has: an event controlling means 22 which controls events, which are transmitted and received between evaluation object software SW1 and the software SW except the evaluation object software SW1 and/or the hardware HW, to the evaluation object function providing means 81; and an operation testing means 82 which controls the acquisition and/or issue of the events by means of the event controlling means 22, in accordance with the operational environment of the evaluation object function providing means 81, and tests the operation of the evaluation object software SW1.
