摘要 An EGR cooler by the present invention comprises: a body cell where cooling water flows in and out; a plurality of gas tubes which is formed in a plate type tube shape, has a gas intake part where exhaust gas flows in to be arranged in one side of the width direction, arranges a gas discharge part in the other side of the width direction so that exhaust gas flowing into the gas intake part makes a U-turn and flows out, and is installed in the body cell in a vertically stacked structure; an inflow / outflow flange which is combined to cover one side of the body cell where an inflow / outflow hole of the gas tube is positioned; and a finishing cap which is combined to cover the other side of the body cell. The cross section of the gas discharge part is formed to have a higher height and a narrower width than the cross section of the gas intake part. An interval between two adjacent gas intake parts is formed to be wider than an interval between two adjacent gas discharge parts. The EGR cooler by the present invention: enables exhaust gas in a gas tube to flow smoothly as the speed of the exhaust gas of the gas intake part is increased; is able to keep the cooling efficiency of the exhaust gas high as the large quantity of cooling water flows between adjacent gas intake parts; and reduces vibration and noise by preventing a vortex generated in a process where cooling water flows between gas tubes.
