<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the opening/closing of a lid body with respect to a main body, and to nearly shut off an airflow between the inside and outside of a container, in terms of the egg storage container which is composed of the main body with egg storage recesses and the lid body via a hinge. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of snap projections 18a and recesses 17a are formed in respective lid-side and main-body-side flanges on the side of an opening, among four-side flange parts of the main body with the egg storage recesses and those of the lid body; a protrusive streak, which is positioned in such a manner as to go around, is formed on the one-side flanges among the other three-side flanges; and step parts to be fitted to the protrusive streak are formed in the other-side flanges. Preferably, the projection 18a and the recess 17a are formed in a rectangular shape. When the projection 18a and the recess 17a make the egg storage container loaded with the eggs and make the lid closed, the accurate abutment of the projection 18a and the recess 17a at one end makes both rectangular side surfaces of them act as positioning guides for the next projection 18a and the next recess 17a, so as to facilitate mechanical pressing and fitting using a roll 22, and so as to enable the almost all-around close contact of the flanges and the closing of the lid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
