The present invention relates to a plating composition, a plated steel member plating method using the same, and the plated steel member plated with the plating composition. The plating composition comprises: 35-55 wt% of Zn; 0.3-2 wt% of Mg; 0.5-3 wt% of Si; and the remaining consisting of Al with the total weight thereof. The plating composition satisfies an equation 1 and an equation 2; wherein equation 1 is 0.9 <= Al (wt%)/Zn (wt%) <= 1.8, and equation 2 is Si (wt%) < Al (wt%) × 0.03 + Mg (wt%) × 0.7. The present invention obtains an effect of plating the plated steel member (Al-Zn based alloy plated steel member) with excellent corrosion resistance, excellent machinability, and excellent plated surface flatness.
