PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water closet capable of improving sewerage discharging performance by promoting the vertical agitation of reservoir water in a recessed portion of a bowl part.SOLUTION: A water closet 1 according to this invention includes a bowl part 14 including a sewerage receiving surface 20, a rim portion 22 formed on the upper side of the sewerage receiving surface, a shelf portion 24 formed between the rim portion and the sewerage receiving surface, and a recessed portion 26 formed below the sewerage receiving surface, a drain path 18 for discharging sewerage, a first water discharge port 28 for discharging washing water onto the shelf portion of the bowl part to form a swirl flow, a second water discharge port 30 for discharging washing water to the rear side of the bowl part in the same direction as the swirling direction of the washing water to be discharged from the first water discharge port, a first water guide path 32 for supplying the washing water into the first water discharge port, and a second water guide path 34 for supplying the washing water into the second water discharge port, the first water guide path and the second water guide path being formed so that the flow amount of the washing water to be discharged from the second water discharge port is greater than the flow amount of the washing water to be discharged from the first water discharge port.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
