PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the air discharge mechanism of a tire vulcanizing mold and the tire vulcanizing mold, capable of preventing entanglement of rubber in a spring even when the rubber intrudes in a holder to prevent occurrence of external flaw due to occurrence of malfunction and capable of producing a pneumatic tire having excellent appearance quality.SOLUTION: An air discharge mechanism of a tire vulcanizing mold comprises: a vent hole formed on the molding surface of the tire vulcanizing mold; a cylindrical holder which is fitted into the vent hole, the end part on the molding surface side of which is opened, and which has a through-hole on the other end thereof; a plug having a rod-like part inserted in the through-hole of the holder to slide, a valve part formed to fit into the opening of the holder and a stopper formed so as to regulate the slide of the rod-like part; and a spring mounted on the rod-like part of the plug inside the holder to energize the plug toward the molding surface of the tire vulcanizing mold. A cylindrical cover which has a through-hole into which the rod-like part of the plug is inserted at one end part of the molding surface side, and the other end part of which is opened, is inserted into the holder so as to cover the spring.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
