Provided is an acceleration control apparatus, provided to a vehicle. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the acceleration control apparatus comprises: a sensing unit sensing whether or not a driver wears a seat belt to indicate whether or not the driver wears the seat belt; a control signal generation unit generating a control signal restraining acceleration of the vehicle when the sensing signal indicates that the driver does not wear the seat belt; and a driving unit operated by the control signal to operate a blocking bar restraining acceleration of the vehicle. |
