The method is for handling a load bearer (1) on a ship, on land with a lorry or train and for placing a load upon it. The load bearer has a bottom plate (17) of sandwich construction, along which extends a longitudinal vertical wall (15), also of sandwich construction. The wall has devices on it (9-11) for securing the load (6-8) on the bottom plate. The load bearer is handled preferably both on board ship and on land conveyance by a hoist. |
