SYSTEM FOR MANUFACTURING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A system for manufacturing a liquid crystal display and a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display using the same are provided to balance a time of a liquid crystal dropping process and a time of a sealant applying process, thereby reducing a time until a bonding process. CONSTITUTION: A TFT(Thin Film Transistor) array including gate lines, data lines, thin film transistors, pixel electrodes, and common electrodes is formed on a first substrate(S1). A color filter array including a black matrix layer and a color filter layer is formed on a second substrate(S6). The first substrate and the second substrate are cleaned to apply an alignment film on each substrate(S2,S7). The alignment film is applied on each substrate and an alignment direction is decided by processing a rubbing process(S3,S8). The first substrate and the second substrate are cleaned to remove particles generated in the alignment process(S4,S9). Liquid crystal is dropped on an active area of each panel of the first substrate(S5). A sealant is printed at an edge of each panel of the second substrate(S10). The second substrate is cleaned to remove particles(S11). The second substrate is inversed to bond the first substrate with the second substrate(S12). The first substrate is bonded with the second substrate(S13). The sealant is cured by using ultraviolet rays and heat(S14-S15). The bonded and cured two substrates are cut by unit panels(S16). The divided substrates are polished and finally inspected to be forwarded(S17-S18).
