A device for arresting a film on rewind into a magazine and for then drawing out the end of the film from the magazine comprises a spring-loaded rockable and displaceable plate 9 provided with a hook 8 which can be pushed through a slot 2 in a magazine located near an exit slot 4 and on so doing the winding motor is energized by means of a micro-switch 13 and the hook 8 positioned so that it may catch the film end which is also provided with a slot Fig. 4 (not shown). The plate 9 is then pushed sideways along a slot 6 in a mounting plate 7 to draw out the film which is then engaged by rollers 15, 16. On release of the plate 9, it returns to its original position and switches off the winding motor. |
